Published: 4/1/2026
Your complete guide to attending K-POP concerts in Bangkok. Covers how to get to IMPACT Arena, recommended hotels, dining, and sightseeing tips.
Why Bangkok Is a Popular K-POP Concert Destination
Bangkok is a staple city for K-POP world tour Asian legs. Affordable flights from Japan (round trip JPY 30,000-50,000), low cost of living, and plenty of tourist attractions make it a triple win. Many artists including BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids hold concerts in Bangkok.
Getting to IMPACT Arena
IMPACT Arena is a large venue located in Muang Thong Thani, northern Bangkok.
BTS (Skytrain) + Taxi
- Take the BTS to Mo Chit Station
- From the station, take a taxi or Grab for about 20 minutes
- Cost: 150-250 Baht (approx. USD 4-7)
Venue Shuttle Bus
For major concerts, free shuttle buses may operate from the venue. They typically depart from BTS Mo Chit Station or MRT Chatuchak Station. Check the concert's official social media in advance.
Grab (Ride-Hailing App)
Grab is the most convenient transportation option in Bangkok. Simply enter your destination and the fare is fixed, so there's no worry about taxi overcharging. However, note that Grab demand surges after concerts end, making it harder to get a ride.
Recommended Hotel Areas
Near IMPACT Arena (Muang Thong Thani)
Hotels within walking distance of the venue, so you won't have to worry about getting back after the show. However, restaurants and convenience stores are scarce in the area, so it's best to eat beforehand.
Along the BTS Line (Siam / Asok Area)
Convenient for sightseeing and dining. The venue is 30-40 minutes away, but this area is recommended for your overall stay. Business hotels range from USD 20-55 per night.
