Outdoor Venue Essentials

Weather Preparation Is Key

Japan National Stadium is an outdoor venue. Only part of the stands have roof coverage — arena seats and front stands are fully exposed to rain.

Rain Preparation

  • Rain poncho is a must (umbrellas may be prohibited as they block others' views)
  • Waterproof case for your smartphone
  • Protect your light stick (many fans use zip-lock bags)
  • Bring extra socks for comfort

Heat Preparation (Summer Concerts)

  • Daytime sun is intense — bring a hat and sunscreen
  • Frozen drinks and handheld fans are lifesavers
  • Stay hydrated to prevent heat stroke

Seat Views

Field Seats (Arena)

Flat seats close to the stage. May be standing or with chairs depending on the show. Front seats offer incredible intensity beyond even dome concerts, but rear field positions can be very far away.

Stand Level 1

The lowest stand tier surrounding the field. Elevated with good visibility. Front-facing blocks offer the best overall view.

Stand Level 2 & 3

Higher up and farther away, but great for enjoying the full production. Binoculars are essential.

Preparing for TWICE Concerts

CANDYBONG Light Stick

TWICE's official light stick "CANDYBONG" should be purchased online in advance. Day-of merchandise lines are extremely long, so having your light stick ready beforehand is a relief.

ONCE JAPAN Fan Club

Japan concert tickets are most advantageous through "ONCE JAPAN" member presales. Even for large-scale National Stadium shows, presale increases your chances of getting good seats.

Getting Home After the Show

  • Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station gets the most crowded. Spreading out to Sendagaya or Shinanomachi stations is recommended
  • Walking toward Gaiemmae Station can further reduce congestion
  • Waiting 15-20 minutes before leaving the venue significantly reduces station crowding
